This Privacy Policy describes how Eldon Ngo ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information when you use Zero Snaps ("the game") on iOS or Android.
This policy applies to the Zero Snaps mobile app on iOS and Android. It is the official, publicly accessible Privacy Policy for Zero Snaps for App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
The following data is stored locally on your device:
When cloud sync or online features are available, Zero Snaps may also store gameplay progress, stats, settings, match and lobby data, and account or user identifiers in Firebase Realtime Database and related Firebase services. This lets the game back up, restore, merge, and synchronize progress and online gameplay across app sessions and devices.
When you use the online multiplayer feature, we collect the following through Firebase Authentication, Firebase Realtime Database, Firebase App Check, and Firebase Cloud Functions:
The iOS and Android versions of Zero Snaps display banner and rewarded advertisements served by Google AdMob unless you purchase Remove Ads. Rewarded ads may be offered for optional in-game benefits such as hints or streak saves. AdMob, Google Mobile Ads SDK, and related Google services may collect, receive, use, or share information needed to serve ads, limit fraud and abuse, honor consent choices, and measure ad performance, including:
On iOS, Zero Snaps presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before initializing the ad SDK when tracking permission is needed. If you deny ATT permission, ad requests fall back to non-personalized ads using Google's non-personalized ads setting. If you authorize ATT and your Google consent choices allow it, Google Mobile Ads may serve personalized ads. On Android, ATT does not apply, but Google User Messaging Platform consent choices and Google Play privacy and advertising settings may affect ad personalization and measurement.
Where required, Google may show a consent form through Google's User Messaging Platform. In regions where Google provides privacy options, Zero Snaps includes a "Manage ad consent" link in Settings. You can also manage ad and tracking preferences through your device or store-platform settings. On iOS, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, go to Settings > Google > Ads or your Google Play privacy settings.
When you play daily puzzles, the game fetches puzzle data from our content delivery network (Cloudflare). Standard server logs may record your IP address, user agent, requested URL, date and time, and related request metadata. We do not use this data for tracking, identification, or any purpose beyond serving the requested content, security, and reliability.
The mobile app uses Firebase Analytics to understand app usage, product interaction, and ad performance. Analytics data may include app launches, screen or feature interactions, session activity, purchase events, ad-related events, device information, approximate location inferred from network signals, app instance identifiers, and other event data collected by the Firebase SDKs. We use this information to understand how the game is used, improve the app, measure ads, and maintain app functionality.
The mobile app uses Firebase Crashlytics and related diagnostics to help diagnose crashes, serious errors, reliability issues, debugging needs, and performance problems. Crash reports and diagnostics may include device model, operating system version, app version, crash traces, error state, performance data, installation identifiers, and non-personal custom keys such as whether ads have been removed. We do not set your name, email address, or other direct personal identifiers in Crashlytics.
If you email us for support, privacy, or deletion help, we receive the email address you use, your message, and any information you choose to include, such as device model, operating system version, app version, screenshots, or steps to reproduce an issue. We use this information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and maintain records of support and privacy requests.
Through the mobile app itself, Zero Snaps does not ask you to provide:
Zero Snaps does not ask you to create a named Zero Snaps account or provide sign-in credentials to play. Online multiplayer and cloud sync may use an anonymous Firebase account or app/user identifier in the background.
We use the information described above solely for the following purposes:
We do not sell or rent your information. We share information with service providers and platform partners described in this policy so they can provide Firebase, advertising, analytics, app-store, payment, cloud sync, content delivery, security, and support services for Zero Snaps.
Zero Snaps uses the following third-party services. Each service has its own privacy policy governing the data it collects:
Firebase (Google)
Used for anonymous authentication, Realtime Database cloud sync and online coordination, App Check app integrity verification, Cloud Functions request handling, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics diagnostics, debugging, reliability, and performance measurement.

Depending on ATT status, Google UMP consent choices, and platform privacy settings, Google may serve personalized or non-personalized ads and may process device, ad, interaction, approximate location, diagnostic, and measurement data.

Apple App Store and Google Play Billing
Used to process the optional Remove Ads purchase. Apple or Google processes payment information; Zero Snaps receives purchase status needed to unlock or restore the ad-removal entitlement.

You can delete locally stored game data and the anonymous online account at any time by using the deletion option in the Settings screen within the game. This permanently removes progress, records, preferences, hint data, and local online identifiers from your device. If you purchased Remove Ads, your store purchase record may remain with Apple or Google so the purchase can be restored.
The deletion flow also attempts to delete or mark as deleted cloud sync data and the anonymous Firebase user used for online features. If a network or platform error prevents the remote deletion step from completing immediately, the local data is still deleted and the app will continue trying to keep deleted cloud sync data from being restored.
Online match data is automatically deleted within 24 hours. You do not need to take any action to delete it.
You can also request deletion or privacy help by emailing [email protected]. Please include "Zero Snaps data deletion request" in the subject and describe the device/platform or app instance you need help with. Google Play users can also review the dedicated Zero Snaps Data Deletion page for request instructions.
To request deletion of data held directly by third-party services, such as Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, Firebase, Apple App Store, Google Play, or Cloudflare, please refer to the respective service's privacy policy linked in Section 4.
Zero Snaps does not provide user-created accounts with names, email addresses, passwords, or profiles. The mobile app's deletion option refers to deleting local game data, cloud sync data where available, and the anonymous Firebase identifier used for online and sync features.
Zero Snaps is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. The game may be suitable for broad audiences, but we do not target the Google Play Families program, the Apple Kids Category, or child-directed advertising. The game does not knowingly collect direct personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).
Zero Snaps does not ask children or any other users for a name, email address, phone number, precise location, photo, contact list, chat message, or public profile. Online multiplayer has no chat, no user-generated text, and no public profiles. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the game or by contacting us, please contact us using the information in Section 11, and we will take steps to delete that information.
Zero Snaps offers an optional in-app purchase to remove advertisements. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment information, including credit card numbers or billing addresses.
We take reasonable measures to protect the information associated with the game. Communication with Firebase, Cloudflare, Apple, Google, and platform services uses encrypted connections where supported by those services. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
